Sacramento Airport broke the all-time record for passengers served in 2017.

10.9 million passengers came through the airport, which beat out the old record of 10.7 million in 2007. According to Aviation Pros, the airport saw a 7.8 percent growth over 2016.

Sacramento International Airport is adding in new services in 2018. Maybe 2018 will be another record-setting year!

New services added this year include:

  • Saturday service to Cabo San Lucas and Sunday service to New Orleans, beginning in March on Southwest
  • Daily service to St. Louis and Austin, beginning in April on Southwest
  • Daily service to Orlando, beginning in May on Southwest
  • Daily service to Vancouver, beginning in May on Air Canada

Hopefully this means more daily flights will be added as the airport keeps growing.
