Researchers: Women Are Attracted To Men Who Look Like Their Brothers

Happy Brother’s Day! (On a side note, when’s Sister’s Day?)

Well, as a little bit of a tie in, in a new study published in the Evolution and Human Behaviour Journal, research finds women are attracted to men who look like their brothers.

“[Our findings] were not a rule or true of every woman but we do find that, at levels greater than chance, partners did show some subtle resemblance to the women’s brothers. The research also suggests familiarity is attractive, meaning people choose partners with similar views and interests,” lead researcher Tamsin Saxton told The Independent.
