RECALL ALERT: If You Have Honey Smacks Cereal, Throw It Away!

The FDA has issued a warning about Kellogg’s Honey Smacks cereal after a salmonella outbreak was tied to the cereal.

The report says, “All Kellogg’s Honey Smacks cereal was recalled in June 2018. Because the CDC has continued to receive reports of illnesses linked to this cereal, we are reminding consumers not to eat Honey Smacks cereal.”

They even went to the extreme step of saying, “Consumers should check their homes and throw away any Honey Smacks cereal.”

If you see Honey Smacks on sale anywhere, you are asked to report it to the FDA here.
