You get on a plane in San Francisco, ready for a short 11 minute (slightly under-exaggerated) flight to LAX when you smell an all-too-familiar smell to any Californian (or Coloradoan, or person who has been alive more than 12 years), weed. It’s wafting through the airplane, but where is it coming from?

ABC 7 has the answer, “A Southwest Airlines plane was forced to make an emergency landing shortly after takeoff on Wednesday because a passenger allegedly decided to smoke marijuana in the bathroom.

The airplane took off from San Francisco and was headed to Los Angeles’ LAX, but made an emergency landing safely in San Jose.”

The pot-smoking passenger was handed over to the cops, and the other passengers were given contact highs and re-routed.
