Patton Oswalt will be in Sacramento to talk about his late wife’s book about Golden State Killer. Oswalt, a standup comedian known for his roles on King of Queens and as the inner voice of Adam Goldberg on the Goldberg’s, will be at the Citrus Heights Barnes and Noble Birdcage Walk Wednesday, May 30 at 7 p.m. His late wife, Michelle McNamara’s book ‘I’ll Be Gone in the Dark: One Woman’s Obsessive Search for the Golden State Killer’ is about the crimes of the Golden State Killer, also known as the East Area Rapist who terrorized the state for a decade. Shortly after the book was released, police arrested Joseph DeAngelo at his home in Citrus Heights. Police have said while the book helped keep the crimes in the spotlight, it was not responsible for the arrest.
