Mariah Carey And James Packer Reportedly Reach A Settlement

When Mariah Carey split with her Austrailian billionaire fiancé, James Packer, in 2016, she allegedly asked for $50 million to make up for trouble. He asked her to move to Los Angeles to be closer to him so she uprooted her life in New York and moved to L.A.
But it seems Mariah had to settle for a lot less.
The Blast reports the two have reached a settlement which lets Mariah keep her enormous 35-carat diamond engagement ring given to her by Packer.
Between the value of the ring and some cash she will walk away with somewhere between $5 million and $10 million.
The settlement also is making up for something Packer allegedly did to Mariah’s assistant on a yacht in Greece. Whatever it was, Mariah apparently canceled the remainder of her South American tour over the issue.
