Congratulations to Adam Levine, Jesse Carmichael, James Valentine, Mickey Madden, Matt Flynn, PJ Morton, and Sam Farrar. That’s 7 guys though, why are they named “Maroon 5?” Anyway, irrelevant. It was just announced that they’re going to be playing Halftime come February.

Well first, let’s clarify something. It’s not totally 100% confirmed, but there have been 2 different sources saying so. The NFL and reps for the band haven’t said anything yet, but we’re sure that’s to come. We’ll take their silence as them trying to come up with some proper legal phrasing. That’s what I’m calling it. Unless this is some elaborate hoax that they’re planning behind the scenes, it’ll happen.

A Maroon 5 performance might mean some extra artists showing up to party. Maroon 5 have of course collaborated a lot, most recently with Cardi B on “Girls Like You.” That song, by the way, is being called one of the top songs of summer 2018. They haven’t released any new music so far in 2018, and they’re on tour currently, but I wonder if we may see a new song or two pop up during the performance. I’m sure there will be more info coming out soon, we’ll try to keep you updated. For now, here are some more details on the show.
