Katy Perry kissed a contestant on “American Idol” and he didn’t like it. 19 year old Benjamin Glaze said he had never been kissed saying, I can’t kiss a girl without being in a relationship.” But, Katy didn’t respect his wishes and had him to come over to the judges’ table, where she asked him to kiss her on the cheek. But as he went in, she turned her head and kissed him ON THE LIPS. And he literally fell backward in shock.

In an interview with the “New York Times”, he said, “I was a tad bit uncomfortable. I wanted to save it for my first relationship. I wanted it to be special. If she said, ‘Would you kiss me?’ … I would’ve said ‘no.’ Benjamin says he DOESN’T consider it sexual harassment. And, he won’t have to worry about future encounters because he didn’t make it on to the next round.
This as news American Idol’s ratings on ABC are not the best. Their debut was the least watched of all previous debut’s on Fox. And, while it won the night in viewers with 8.2 million, the season premier fell 23% from the last season on Fox and was beaten handily when it went head-to-head with NBC’s The Voice.
