A Grocery Store Worker Let An Autistic Kid Help…Now The Internet Is Paying For His College
It was a “miracle” according to his dad

A dad in Baton Rouge is sharing the incredible gesture made to his 17 year old son who is autistic.
He says they were at a grocery store last weekend, which is a big deal for his 17 year old son who doesn’t like being out in public. Well, a 20 year old employee at the store noticed the boy watching him stock shelves. So, he asked the boy to help. For 30 minutes, Jordan showed the kid how to do it, and was really patient with him. And it turns out that was a VERY big deal for the kid. And for his dad who got it all on video. In the footage, you even hear the dad say it’s like watching a “miracle.”
Well, the autistic boy’s older sister posted two videos of it on Facebook, which has gone viral. In the second video the dad asks Jordan where he goes to school. He tells him he graduated two years ago, but cannot afford to start college yet. So the sister started a GoFundMe page to help him with tuition. And in the first day, people donated over 50K. Last we checked, it was close to hitting the $100,000 goal. She and her mom are both special education teachers. And now she’s hoping Jordan thinks about pursuing it too. She says he obviously has a gift for it.
