Quarry Adventure Park in Rocklin opens this spring!

The new Gold Rush-themed outdoor adventure park will feature three-level aerial ropes courses, rock climbing and 2,800 feet of zip lines.

“Most adventure parks are out in the woods and will only have zip lining for minimal capacity,” Quarry Park Adventures president David Busch told Sactown magazine. “But here is this 80-foot-deep, 500-foot-long quarry in the middle of a California city with beautiful granite walls and so much potential. One hundred and twenty kids can play at the kids’ zone at one time. It’s going to be a really special place.”

The Quarry Kid’s Kove for ages 4 – 10 will feature balance beams, cargo nets and zip lines scaled to their sizes.

For more daring adults, there will be the Giant King Swing which catapults you 120 over the rim of the quarry.

Once the adrenaline wears off, take a paddleboat out on the lake, or chill at the covered picnic area. There will also be a gathering place called the Rocklin Roundhouse which will feature five restaurants, a 2,000-square-foot deck overlooking the quarry and a gift shop.

Quarry Adventure Park is on track to open Memorial Day Weekend at 4060 Rocklin Road. Season passes are already on sale at quarrypark.com
