It’s About To Get Easier To Fly To The Caribbean And Latin America From Sacramento

Southwest Airlines just announced daily flights to New Orleans and weekly flight to Houston.

Southwest Airlines just announced it is launching daily flights to New Orleans starting November 4, along with a weekly flight to Houston on Sunday afternoons.

A spokesperson for the Sacramento International Airport tells The Sacramento Bee that New Orleans will be a key connection to Florida and other destinations like Cancun and Belize. Houston will serve as a connector for flights to Latin America.

Other airlines are also expanding service from Sacramento. Jet Blue is now flying to Boston, Alaska Air now has routes to Cabo San Lucan and Air Canada is flying to Vancouver. And, Frontier Airlines is coming back to Sacramento in late summer with flights to Las Vegas and Denver.
