Ellie Goulding, 31, and art dealer Caspar Jopling, 26, announced their engagement after dating a year and a half.
The two officially shared the news in the most old school way possible: through the newspaper.
“Mr. C.W.F. Jopling and Miss E.J. Goulding,” the announcement in The Times reads. “The engagement is announced between Caspar, son of the Hon Nicholas Jopling of Yorkshire and Mrs Jayne Warde-Aldam of Yorkshire, and Elena, daughter of Mr Arthur Goulding of Hertfordshire and Mrs Tracey Sumner of West Midlands.”

They first were linked as a couple in April 2017, when they went to a karaoke bar together. They kept their relationship under wraps for a bit, but eventually went public on social media.
According to HollywoodLife, Jopling is an art dealer who works for Sotheby’s in strategy and Contemporary art. He is a Harvard University alum currently living in New York. The two split their time between Goulding’s London home and his home stateside.
