Ed Sheeran is building his own little village in Suffolk, England. Newly-engaged and ready to start a family, Sheeran snapped four homes next to each other to create his own private estate.

Along with his original million dollar mansion that he purchased in 2012, Sheeran bought a connecting property for around $640,000.  He then bought another adjacent four-bedroom house in September 2016 for well over a million dollars.  His FOURTH home – a bungalow on the other side of his driveway  – was purchased just this past October.

Ed’s now having the properties renovated, and according to the Daily Mail, Ed and and his fiancée, Cherry Seaborn have plans to build a two underground rooms – a theater and music room – connected to his house by an underground tunnel. Those rooms will also be linked to one of the other properties, which Ed is converting into a private pub.

According to The Sun, when previously asked about the renovations Sheeran said,

“Yeah, it’s getting there I’ve build a pub. Like I had a bar before, a bar where you could pour beers but now this has like a selection of beers which is cool. So basically there’s an underground tunnel to get there that you can close off. So if I have a party everyone goes in the pub and no one can get in the house so you get no one, raiding the cupboards or smashing anything. You have to go underground to get to the pub.”

Sheeran, who is reportedly worth well over $40 million also has plans for a garden and several cherry trees.
