Donna Summer Musical Coming To Broadway Next Year
The team who brought us ‘Jersey Boys’ is back again with ‘Summer.’

Next Spring, Summer: The Donna Summer Musical, a musical about the life and career of the iconic singer, is going to hit Broadway on Apr. 23.
Donna Summer famously teamed up with Giorgio Moroder, who is known as the grandfather of electronic dance music, to completely influence and produce some of the biggest hits in the disco era.
Summer will hit Broadway right before The Cher Show, which will run its course in the fall of next year.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, some of her greatest hits that will be featured in the show include “Bad Girls,” “MacArthur Park,” “No More Tears,” “Dim All the Lights,” “Hot Stuff” and “I Love You.”
This show will reunite director Des McAnuff and choreographer by Sergio Trujillo, who worked on Jersey Boys previously.
