Kylie Jenner made the cover of Forbes, lauded as the “youngest-ever self-made billionaire”. Dictionary.com had something to say about that.

“$900 Million cosmetic queen Kylie Jenner,” the magazine cover reads. “At 21, she’s set to be the youngest-ever self-made billionaire. Welcome to the era of extreme fame leverage.”

In response, Dictionary.com tweeted:

“Self-made means having succeeded in life unaided. Used in a sentence: Forbes says that Kylie Jenner is a self-made woman.”

The tweet went viral, with over 17,000 likes and 8,000 comments within the first eight hours of posting. Of course, there are lots of polarizing comments. Many came to Jenner’s defense, while others agree that the beauty mogul had a lot of help getting to where she is.

The article itself even addresses her family’s role in her success, reports PopCulture. While the story focuses on Jenner’s Kylie Cosmetics, it also draws comparisons to Kim Kardashian’s empire.

The Forbes August issue is out now.
