David Spade saved his friend and fellow comedian’s, Bobby Miyamoto, life after the latter suffered from a stroke. Thank goodness David was there!
Sources close to the two said that Bobby suddenly fell ill after returning from a show in Aspen, Colorado. David reportedly advised that Bobby visit Urgent Care, but he felt it wasn’t serious and that he could sleep it off. After a conversation, David noticed that his friend’s speech was slurring, a telltale sign of a stroke, and called paramedics.
The EMTs found that Bobby’s blood pressure was skyrocketing and determined he was suffering from a stroke. He was then rushed to the hospital.
According to the Blast, doctors said that had the comedian waited until the morning, he may not have made it. Thankfully, he’s doing better now. He’s slowly making progress on regaining his motor skills.
