CVS announced a huge change in the way it’s going to start marketing beauty products: no photoshopped images.

The company is hoping that all beauty imagery associated with CVS will soon match with this standard. Furthermore, CVS is adding the “CVS Beauty Mark” on the images that follow these guidelines.

They wrote on their Instagram post promoting the Beauty Mark:

“The CVS Beauty Mark supports a more positive self image in women and girls by promoting more realistic beauty imagery.”

You’ll start seeing that Beauty Mark on untouched images in CVS.

Right now, this only applies to the images that CVS produces. However, the company is hoping that all brands associated with CVS will adhere to this rule by 2020, reports Insider. CVS hopes to achieve this by open communication with beauty brands.

This is a huge step for body positivity!
