Cat Walks 12 Miles Back To People Who Gave Him Up – Is Rejected Again

The family he thought had loved him took him to a shelter and asked staff to put him down!

Toby the cat was given by her owners to another family, but Toby wanted to be home with his family! He escaped and walked 12 miles back to his home, but his owners took an unexpected course.

Fox 5 reports after the cat arrived back at their house, “the family he thought had loved him took him to a shelter and asked staff to put him down, according to SPCA of Wake County.

That shelter reportedly called SPCA of Wake County requesting if they could take him and help him find a new family.

“Of course we said yes!” SPCA of Wake County said in their Facebook post (below).

When Toby's family no longer wanted him, they gave him to another family. But Toby missed them, and walked 12 miles back…
