Britney Spears and her ex Kevin Federline are reportedly disagreeing over child support for their two sons.
After Britney’s infamous breakdown in 2007, Kevin won full custody of the kids, Sean Preston, 12, and Jayden James, 11. A source told Us Weekly that Kevin asked for more child support from Britney because of “the sacrifices he made.” The insider continued:
“He could have threatened to cut off access to the kids, but has not. Kevin has always allowed for very liberal visitation. He has been supportive of her recovery.”
Britney and Kevin equally split custody of the kids. However, the two have a strained relationship. The source reported:
“[Britney’s] angry Kevin is asking for more money because she pays for everything. Those boys are her world. She is an amazing mother.”
Kevin’s reasoning for asking for more money is that Britney’s rising success has come from the boys being in her life. Both Britney and her dad, Jamie, aren’t buying it, especially since he has four other kids he’s supporting:
“Jamie isn’t going to meet an outrageous demand. He knows how important the kids are to Britney and won’t allow her to lose them. Jamie has assured her this won’t become an issue.”
