If you have money left over from the holidays the experts at NerdWallet say theses are the best things to buy in January:

• Bedding and linen – “White Sales” are still a thing. Get deep discounts on sheets and towels.
• Fitness equipment – New year new you, right? Equipment and apparel sales are everywhere.
• Electronics – Right before the Super Bowl you can usually score a killer deal on HDTV’s and home theaters

If you’re in the market for winter clothing/sporting goods or kitchen stuff, hold off until February for the best deals.
