How cool is this? An Aretha Franklin tribute in Detroit by their baseball team was accented by a rainbow at the perfect time.

We told you last week when Aretha passed away, and the memorials have been hard to miss on social media. She truly was the Queen of soul music, and there’s hardly any music or artist out there that wasn’t influenced by her in some way. Detroit’s baseball team was playing a home game in Comerica Park yesterday, and wanted to pay tribute. On their scoreboard, they showed a really nice tribute to Aretha Franklin, who of course lived in Detroit. At the moment the team flashed Aretha’s picture up on the screen, a rainbow was seen behind the scoreboard.

The picture says it all, really. Is that not a beautiful thing to happen during a tribute?
