19-year old Maddie Poppe from Iowa is your Season 16 winner of American Idol! And, not only is Maddie you next American Idol, she also got lucky in love.

People reported that during the show she revealed that she and runner up Caleb Lee Hutchinson are together! Caleb revealed to host Ryan Seacrest,

“Well Maddie is my pal and I’ve known her since the beginning of Hollywood week. And she actually happens to be my girlfrend.”

Hopefully he doesn’t hold a grudge! The big finale also featured performances by Lionel Richie, Luke Bryan, Katy Perry, Nick Jonas, DJ Mustard, Yolanda Adams, LeAnn Rimes, Gary Clark, Jr., Darius Rucker, Bebe Rexha, Patti LaBelle, and Kermit the Frog, with special guest appearance by Jimmy Kimmel.
