Getting what you ordered from Amazon is now as easy as popping your trunk…I mean…if that’s okay with you!

Amazon just announced its “Amazon Key” service is now available to Prime members who have linked their car service, like Onstar, to their Amazon account. Once you do that, all you have to do is download the Amazon Key app and select “in-car delivery” at checkout.

So how does it work? Well, according to KCRA, once you order you’ll be given a delivery window and your car must be parked within 2 blocks of the given address. Then, the delivery driver is given access to your trunk to make the delivery.

Amazon is already testing this concept in the home. Both ways the online retailer is trying to combat the rise of package thefts.
