Although the court case surrounding Allison Mack and her alleged cult, NXIVM, is already scary enough, it just got even creepier…

According to Radar Online, U.S. attorneys filed papers claiming they have evidence that ties the group to human smuggling.

The evidence came after investigators raided the homes of Mack and NXIVM founder Keith Raniere. Court documents describe the new evidence as such:

“[The materials] identify alleged victims of human smuggling, alien harboring, physical or mental abuse towards an intimate partner…”

The government also claims the new evidence involves crimes related to “sexual abuse or sex trafficking,” according to Radar. In fact, attorneys warned the defendants that the evidence is so damaging, the documents will need to be redacted. They explained:

“Some victim discovery material is composed of highly sensitive information including but not limited to medical information, discussion of mental and physical conditions, photographs and videos of victims, letters and videos that alleged victims provided as ‘collateral,’ sexual history and sexual conversations.”

The defense team for Mack and Raniere can only use the new evidence to defend and prepare for their case.
