49ers Player Takes Specials Needs Student To Prom

San Francisco 49ers safety Don Jones is a beast on the field and a man of his word off the field. Last year, a special needs student in Alabama named Lindsey Preston asked Jones to be her date at the school dance. But, Jones wasn’t available on that day. So, he promised he’d take her to the dance the next year. Well, as you can imagine, she didn’t forget and neither did he. Jones’ mom works at Lindsey’s school as a special needs aide, so they were able to stay in contact. Then, last week, Jones showed up at Lindsey’s house in a full tuxedo and took her to the dance. Afterward, Jones said he had a great time and was glad to make her smile. He also said he showed some of the guys about 5 or 6 new dance moves.
